ASSEMBLY
The Association Assembly consists of representatives of
Association members. As a rule, assembly participants are
chairmen of the boards of members. The Association Assembly
meets at least once a year, while resolutions are adopted by a
majority of the members present. Each member of the assembly has
one vote in decisions. Among other matters, the Assembly decides
on new members joining the Association. Association membership
is otherwise voluntary.
COUNCIL
The Association council consists of 7 members. Five members of
the Association council are appointed by the Association
assembly - four representatives of insurance companies and one
representative of the reinsurance company which recorded the
largest gross premiums written in the previous year. The
assembly also elects 2 council members. The mandate of
Association council members lasts for a maximum of 4 years with
the possibility of reappointment and re-election. The council
among other matters decides on membership of the Association in
other organisations, and appoints and dismisses the Association
director.
DIRECTOR
The director organises and manages the work of the Association,
and presents and represents the Association. The director
decides among other matters on employment, the organisation of
the professional service, and the systematisation of posts,
concludes contracts with foreign insurance associations and
bureaux and approves the signing of correspondence agreements.
The director is appointed and dismissed by the Association
council. The director's mandate is for four years with the
possibility of reappointment.

GENERAL ORGANISATION AND ACCOUNTING SERVICE
The General Organisation and Accounting Service monitors
domestic legislation in the area of accounting and personnel
matters, and performs tasks of common importance for the
Association with the agreement of the director.

GREEN CARD BUREAU
The GCB conducts transactions foreseen in international agreements
on the insurance of users or owners of motor vehicles against liability.
In performing payment and liquidation bureau transactions in accordance
with the inter-bureau agreement, the GCB cooperates with the Council
of Bureaux and its members. The work of the Bureau is organised
and managed by the bureau head, who is appointed by the Association
director.

GUARANTEE FUND
This deals with claims events and ensures payment of damages
caused to injured parties by drivers of uninsured and unknown
motor vehicles, trailers, uninsured aircraft and damages suffered
by passengers of uninsured public transport vehicles. The
guarantee fund is managed and organised by the head of the Damages
Fund and MTPL insurance.

Roman ŠTEBE - accountant
MTPL INSURANCE SERVICE (compulsory insurance of
motor vehicles)
The MTPL insurance service monitors the situation, problems and
legislation in the area of MTPL insurance at home and abroad,
handles liquidated claims, supervises the policy of MTPL insurance
implementation and produces the professional basis for MTPL
insurance. The MTPL insurance service is run by the head of the
Guarantee Fund and the MTPL insurance service.

PERSONAL INSURANCE SERVICE
The personal insurance service monitors the situation, problems
and legislation in the area of personal insurance at home and
abroad, monitors the factors in other markets which influence the
types of insurance, and prepares the professional basis for
individual insurance types. The service is run by the head of the
personal insurance service.

The property insurance service monitors the situation, problems
and legislation in the area of property, transport and credit
insurance at home and abroad, monitors the factors in other
markets which influence insurance types, and prepares the
professional basis for individual insurance products. The service
is run by the head of the property insurance service.

STATISTICAL ANALYSIS AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICE
The statistical analysis and information technology service
monitors the situation, problems and legislation in the area of
the service at home and abroad. The service ensures the continuous
development of the statistical and information system, and
provides statistical data on insurance activities to members and
other users through the preparation of the annual "Statistical
Insurance Bulletin". The service is run by the head of the
Statistical Analysis and Information Technology Service.

EDUCATION SERVICE
The service organises all forms of education for the needs of
members, organisations the annual "Slovenian Insurance Days"
conference, arranges the translation and publication of
professional literature for the needs of education. The service is
run by the head of the Education Service.
