32. Dnevi zavarovalništva v Sloveniji bodo potekali 4. in 5. 6. 2026 v GH Bernardin v Portorožu.

Dolga desetletja je Evropa — in velik del sveta — živela v udobnem prepričanju, da je stabilnost naravno stanje družb. Politika, institucije in javnost so verjeli v dolgoročno predvidljivost, stabilne geopolitične odnose in domnevo, da so krize izjeme, ne pa del strukture sveta. Zadnja leta so razkrila, kako nepripravljeni smo bili: geopolitični premiki, gospodarska razdrobljenost, tehnološki napredek, podnebni ekstremi in strateške poteze globalnih sil so večkrat presenetile Evropo in razgalile krhkost te domneve o stabilnosti.

To je MIT O STABILNOSTI: prepričanje, da je bil svet stabilen, čeprav to nikoli ni bil.

Zavarovalniška panoga živi v drugačni resničnosti. Za nas nestanovitnost ni presenečenje — je naš temelj. Mi merimo negotovost, cenimo nepredvidljivost, oblikujemo scenarije in ustvarjamo mehanizme, ki iz volatilnosti gradijo odpornost. Zavarovalništvo je že od nekdaj delovalo z razumevanjem, da so spremembe, pretresi in šoki konstanta.

Zato je panoga v marsičem korak pred drugimi.

Tam, kjer so bili javni sistemi zgrajeni na predpostavki miru, je bilo zavarovalništvo zgrajeno na pričakovanju turbulenc.

Povezava med mitom o stabilnosti in nestanovitim stanjem postavi zavarovalništvo tja, kamor sodi: ne kot opazovalca, temveč kot izkušeni sistem za obvladovanje nestanovitnosti.

Na konferenci bomo izpostavili aktualne razmere na globalni in lokalni ravni ter raziskali, kako lahko zavarovalništvo s svojim znanjem in izkušnjami prevzame aktivno vlogo pri usmerjanju, vodenju in podpori družbi v vse bolj negotovem okolju. Poseben del programa bomo namenili umetni inteligenci – njenim praktičnim aplikacijam v naši panogi ter izzivom in pristopom k njihovemu učinkovitemu obvladovanju.

Osrednji govorec konference bo Carsten Beck, futurist, ki prihaja iz Københavnskega inštituta za študije prihodnosti. V svojem predavanju bo razprl mit stabilnosti ter osvetlil prihodnost skozi scenarije, ki so zavarovalničarjem še posebej blizu. Carsten ima več kot 30 let izkušenj pri spremljanju in analiziranju globalnih in lokalnih trendov ter pri njihovem preoblikovanju v uporabne vpoglede za podjetja in družbe.

The 32nd Insurance Days in Slovenia will be held on June 4th and 5th, 2026, at GH Bernardin in Portorož.

For decades, Europe—and much of the world—lived in the comfortable belief that stability is the natural state of societies. Policymakers, institutions, and the public trusted in long-term predictability, stable geopolitical relations, and the assumption that crises are exceptions rather than an inherent part of the global structure. In recent years, however, it has become clear how unprepared we were: geopolitical shifts, economic fragmentation, technological advances, climate extremes, and the strategic moves of global powers have repeatedly caught Europe off guard, exposing the fragility of this assumption of stability.

This is the MYTH OF STABILITY: the belief that the world was stable, when in fact it never truly was.

The insurance industry operates in a different reality. For us, volatility is not a surprise—it is our foundation. We measure uncertainty, price unpredictability, build scenarios, and create mechanisms that turn volatility into resilience. Insurance has always functioned with the understanding that change, disruption, and shocks are constants.

In many ways, this places the industry a step ahead of others.

Where public systems were built on the assumption of calm, insurance was built on the expectation of turbulence.

The link between the myth of stability and a volatile reality positions the insurance industry where it belongs: not as an observer, but as an experienced system for managing uncertainty.

At the conference, we will highlight current developments at both the global and local levels and explore how the insurance industry, with its knowledge and experience, can take on a more active role in guiding, leading, and supporting society in an increasingly uncertain environment. A dedicated part of the program will focus on artificial intelligence—its practical applications in our industry, as well as the challenges it brings and approaches to managing them effectively.

The keynote speaker of the conference will be Carsten Beck, a futurist from the Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies. In his lecture, he will deconstruct the myth of stability and shed light on the future through scenarios that resonate strongly with the insurance sector.

Carsten has more than 30 years of experience in monitoring and analyzing global and local trends, and in transforming them into actionable insights for businesses and society.
